Who we are
INTEJ is a private nonprofit association dedicated to supporting students, teachers and youth, of any nationality, so they may continue to develop and achieve their full potential. Our staff is comprised of young professionals committed to our mission.
What are we looking for?
For more than 25 years, INTEJ has supported the development of youth as actors in their own personal achievements and as promoters of a better world. Our goals are to see youth achieve their own viability, linked to the necessary performance and respect towards the cultural values of their towns and cities; to have them consider the integration, the rational use of natural resources and the protection of the environment, as well as its development, as necessary goals to be fulfilled and ones they should commit to it.
How do we do it?
INTEJ works through social tourism, especially educational tourism, organizing events, work and travel experiences, pre-professional and professional internships, volunteering programs, courses and seminars. We also strive to involve the active participation of Universities, youth organizations, business unions, and research. Helping generate work for youth is one of tools INTEJ uses to reach its main goal. In addition, we provide the means to facilitate national and international exchange by providing comfortable and safe conditions, as well as economical air and land transport, lodging, insurance, etc.
